Taking it easy

SO have had a pretty easy week this past week. After such a wild week of shows and filming it was nice to turn my attention to school for a bit. I got to experiment too with some fun foods!

Here is the first I tried and loved-

Crunchy Oven baked fries/chips

What you need!
-2 tsps olive oil
-2 large baking or red potatoes
-1 large egg white
-2 tsps seasoning <--- get creative!! My creation recipe follows this one!

What to do!
Preheat oven 425F & grease a large non-stick baking sheet with the olive oil.
Slice potatoes into either steak fries size, fries size, or potato chips.
Soak the potatoes in water, pinch of salt and pinch of sugar for at least 10 minutes.
In a medium mixing bowl, whisk the egg white until very light and foamy. Add the potatoes and the seasoning to the egg whites and toss to coat evenly.
Spread the potatoes on the prepared sheet- not touching each other. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Halfway through cooking time, turn the potatoes over using a spatula.

Seasoning!

2 1/2 tbsps paprika
2 tbsps salt
2 tbsps garlic powder
1 tbsp pepper
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsps cayenne pepper
1 tbsp italian herbs

Combine all ingredients well!

These fries were so delicious!! I hope you like them too! :)
